Reebok X Victoria Beckham: #OUTNOW
When high performance streetwear meets minimalistic design the result is so… Victoria!
Introducing the Reebok x Victoria Beckham collection, mixing the relaxed demeanour of elevated streetwear with technical performance, underpinned by the minimal sensibility intrinsic to Victoria Beckham’s aesthetic.
“Every time I launch something new, it’s because it’s something I want in my life,” Beckham says at the New York shoot for the campaign. “I’ve wanted to put a trainer in my collection for a long, long time, but it’s something that’s very specialized—I had to do it with a brand that had the technical experience and the know-how.” The result is fashion-forward in the extreme: Available in sunset orange and a very Victoria Beckham shade of camel, it’s a sock style with a leg that extends several inches past the ankle and a logo that merges Reebok’s familiar vector with their collaborator’s VB most seamlessly.

The new collection for men and women is out now and it has been our favourite athlesiure fashion proposal for 2019.
Celine Men AW19 at Paris Fashion Week
n his debut show for Celine – now sans accent – in September, Hedi Slimane made it more than clear what his intentions are for the house. If anyone thought that some of the reactions to that show would have an effect on his vision, his first men’s show for Celine spelled out a big fat – or indeed very, very skinny – no. In fashion, as in life, there are certain forces that will make themselves heard. Slimane is one of them. He believes in his own vision to its utmost core: from the mechanical light installation that fanfares every show (this time it was a huge geometric ball) to the stick thin models that walk his runway (a new one turns 18 every minute), to the emerging rock bands that score his collections (the irreverently named Crack Cloud), and the vintage-inspired aesthetic that embodies his garments. No matter how deep you search, the ultimate proposal of any of his collections – and indeed the one he showed on Sunday night – is in essence the brand of Hedi Slimane.
Seasonal collections, however, are put in the world to propose something new for the immediate future. So how do you, as an observer of such collections, approach the work of a designer, who believes so strongly in a consistent point of view? You could read into Sunday evening’s Celine collection and say that it proposed a more cropped and roomier tailored trouser, or that its suiting evoked the tie-wearing Patrick Bateman yuppie dad tailoring of 1980s’ Valentino; only cut for a much, much skinnier frame. You could talk about the glitter and sequinned pieces, which were no doubt of a notable artisanal value. Or you could point out the obvious nostalgia – or was it wistfulness – that existed within the collection for the mid-2000s when indie music culture was at its high and everyone looked like the boys, who walked the 2019 Celine runway. What has to be stated – for the sake of the history books – is that Celine menswear, which didn’t exist under Slimane’s predecessor Phoebe Philo, was brought into the world looking like this.

Dries Van Noten AW19 at Paris Fashion Week Men's
Dries Van Noten has presented a selection of voices that accompanied his AW 2019/2020 collection—an aural backdrop of snatches of conversations and interviews with the men Van Noten admires. There was David Bowie, of course: his pleated pants, a flavor of his ’80s persona. There was David Hockney, talking about getting up mid-morning in California, and going out to see what’s around to paint.
There was a burst of Jimi Hendrix—cue a riff on tie-dye. Kurt Cobain, Andy Warhol, Francis Bacon, Yves Saint Laurent, David Byrne. And in the middle of it, there was the mordant voice of an Englishman, nailing the state of affairs today. “I think the whole of our society is run by insane people for insane objects," he said. Turned out to be John Lennon, in the ’60s.

Milan Fashion Week: Prada Men AW19
The industrial grand hall of the Deposito, part of Fondazione Prada complex, has been transformed into an arena of light and shadows. Miuccia Prada is back at it again as she serves to us the fashion reality and she takes inspiration from old movies like Frankenstein.
When the collection itself appears, it follows suit. Black is the colour that dominates, highlighted by bursts of vivid coloured garments or accessories, such as multiple belts wrapped around the models waist, neon pink boots and bold red feathered headpieces and pale blue glasses that are reminiscent of scientific goggles.

Celine's first menswear collection will debut in January
Hedi Slimane will present his first collection dedicated exclusively to menswear for Celine during Men’s Fashion Week in Paris in January 2019.
On September 28, 2018, Hedi Slimane presented his first collection as creative director for Celine at Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2019. The September show saw Slimane introduce masculine silhouettes for the first time, in a show that featured models of every gender. The menswear pieces had a rock edge, an aesthetic borrowed from the Parisian nightlife scene (which served as inspiration for the show). Now, the fashion world is awaiting Slimane’s first collection exclusively dedicated to menswear for Celine, which will debut in January 2019 at Men’s Fashion Week in Paris.

EROTOKRITOS Paris: FW 2018/19 collection
The lifestyle and fashion brand EROTOKRITOS PARIS revealed its Fall Winter menswear collection, embracing a new ‘contemporary’ style and aesthetic.
The homme collection consists of shirts with retro influences and patterns, high waist trousers and there is a big focus on knitwear; EROTOKRITOS’ identity element.
The designer proposes a new effortless style for the brand. In our eyes, it is all about comfort and it's about function and formality at the same time.

The world of Ali Franco: Exclusive Interview and Presentation
Eastern European ( originally from Ukraine) but based in Portugal, Ali Franco is a unique artist and painter.
"Lover of the erotic themes of the homosexual world, he represents a combination of concepts and taboos and gives us glimpses of bourgeois porn in candy covers, where Harmony novel atmospheres act as a setting for disturbing sexual acts among wrestlers of ancient Greece."
-Tell us a bit more about you and your art.
I was born within an artistic family, my parents have art education and my father always worked in museums and theaters, decorating rooms and the stage.
I loved so much to be in a backstage room, to see the actors preparing for showsand the busy atmosphere. I loved costumes around me and the makeup smell, it was like magic in the air.
Something else that stayed in my mind as a strong memory is the Apollo mask on the wall of my room. I was drawing him very often. Years later I was in love with the movies of Fellini Satyricon and Casanova. I guess all of these things had influence on me.
But I thought there is something I can't find and I want to see it...
I was looking for that something in books, magazines, internet and finally decided to create something by myself: homoerotic illustrations with the atmosphere I love: theater, Greek, French, Italian culture.
-How did you decide to follow and develop that section of art?
My first work pieces were not openly homoerotic actually. But people said “they look like gays, why do you do it? The guys you paint, look too feminine, it's so weird.” I guess I confused people around with my works.
I heard from them “it might be better to do normal things, because nobody needs paintings like yours”.
And I made a big break with my own artworks. I closed up and I was working just for requests, painting mostly portraits, landscapes, book and game illustrations.
But I believe it was a good experience in my life, that gave me new skill level and requirements. As a final point now they love what I create.
-Describe your art in three words.
Three main words are always with me when I'm painting - Passion, Beauty, Love.
-Where do you find inspiration? Books or paintings? Do you organise a set with live models as well?
I can say I'm more illustrator than a painter. I create a composition in my head and later I look for models. Sometimes my friends help me with this, sometimes I use photos… everything can be good in this case.
-How is fashion related to your work?
Talking about fashion, it's funny - as a teenager I wanted to be a fashion designer, to create interesting clothes, but at the same time I always thought - “it will be something out of fashion because it's too weird or complicated.”
I hope in future to use more clothes and hairstyle ideas in my artworks, maybe even to create some alternative or even a surreal world.
I like what is going on with fashion today - looks like we are very close to freedom, people can be creative and feel free to express themselves.
I'm really glad about it!
-Where can someone find your art and actually buy his favourite painting?
Two years ago I started to post my works on Instagram and didn't expected for a lot of followers, if to be honest. So I really appreciate all people who like my works! And I'm glad that people buy my paintings or art prints.
At the moment I have Etsy page for this (https://www.etsy.com/shop/AFstore) and also you can find some of my works in Filippo Ioco Studio and Gallery in Barcelona (http://www.iocostudiogallery.com).
-What are your next plans? Are planning any exhibition soon ?
I have so many plans - first to continue create new illustrations sure.
I hope to publish few books with sketches and color illustrations. Also to take a part in art exhibitions and to make a solo exhibition in two years.

In Barcelona with El_Isleño
Architect and model Valandis Kallis can’t get enough of Barcelona. The spicy Greek Cypriot lad is 'falling in love' with travelling every summer, and here he reveals his favorite places from Barcelona; go-to beach, clubbing, site seeing and more.
His favourite area to stay is the Eixample of Barcelona. "Grab a coffee, a fresh bocadillo and press play on your ipod. Enjoy a long walk starting from Rambia de Catalunya, skipping the croud of Las Ramblas and get lost in the old streets of Raval" he noted.
Valandi's favourite destination is always the sea, and in Barcelona he had the opportunity to walk across the coastline and feel the vibe of the beach life. "Final stop of my long walk was the W hotel where I stopped at the beach next to it. After that the steps are simple. Shoes off, walk on the gold sand and relax by enjoying a glass of cold tasty sangria."
El Isleño ( his Vlog name and Instagram ) has recently started vlogging and we can't stop watching his latest video from his trip in Barcelona.
