The GUCCI COSMOS Exhibition is coming to London

After a successful debut in Shanghai in April, the Gucci Cosmos exhibition is moving to the UK. Running from 11 October until 31 December, the immersive installation will showcase and celebrate the house’s most iconic and forward-thinking designs from its 102-year-long history.

The British artist Es Devlin, who designed the original Shanghai exhibit, has created a show space that pays homage to London, through a series of imaginative sets, sculptures and multimedia artworks. It will be staged at 180 Studios.

GUCCI celebrates 100 years with the ARIA collection and Balenciaga collaboration

Gucci is 100 years old. For the occasion, Alessandro Michele is designing a men's and women's fall-winter 2021-2022 show that highlights the brand's heritage through a plethora of pieces and accessories as daring as each other.

And because he never does things by halves, for his last show, he decided to appropriate the avant-garde spirit signed by Balenciaga by Demna Gvasalia and the hypersexualized aesthetic of Tom Ford of the Gucci era .

Gucci x The North Face: The collaboration you didn't know it's coming

This Wednesday, on Instagram, Gucci announced an upcoming collaboration with the brand The North Face - something we didn’t expect to see.

Vogue Hommes noted: If you follow Gucci on social networks, you have inevitably seen in your Instagram feed the latest videos posted by the house announcing the collaboration. We see a flag bearing the logo of the two brands, surrounded by a bucolic landscape bordered by mountains, a nod to the heritage of The North Face . While we do not yet know what form this project will take, this collaboration may well create a buzz.

GUCCI is going seasonless with 2 shows per year.

The Kering-owned Italian megabrand joins stablemate Saint Laurent in breaking with the conventional fashion calendar.

“I will abandon the worn-out ritual of seasonalities and shows to regain a new cadence, closer to my expressive call,” said designer Alessandro Michele in a diary entry posted to Gucci’s Instagram.

“We will meet just twice a year,” the entry continues, “to share the chapters of a new story. Irregular, joyful and absolutely free chapters, which will be written blending rules and genres, feeding on new spaces, linguistic codes and communication platforms.” The Italian megabrand is planning a virtual press conference with select journalists for Monday.

November's favourites: 4+1 men perfumes for winter 2019

Sexy, elegant or spicy here are some of our favourite perfumes for this winter.

Dollar Shave Club Blueprint 201

Spicy and woody and warm, like the vapor rising up off a hot toddy in a snowed-in cabin.

Diptyque Eau de Minthé

Inspired by a Greek myth—minty fresh with nutmeg, lavender, and patchouli.

Montblanc Explorer Eau de Parfum

Herb (clary sage) on wood (cedar) on grass (vetiver)—like Big Sur in a bottle.

Floris Vert Fougère

A tenacious, multi-faceted fragrance reflecting a journey embarked upon by the Floris perfumers in pursuit of reimagining the iconic Fougère; the archetype of bold perfumery.

Gucci Mémoire d'une Odeur

Built around Roman chamomile, which ancient soldiers used in wartime for courage in battle.

5+1 looks WE LOVE from Met Gala 2019

On Monday, May 6, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York hosted some of the most important celebrities for its annual MET Costume Institute Gala, which opened the exhibition "Camp: Notes on Fashion".

Here are our favourite Man Looks from the pink carpet:

Our last but not least, favourite looks is the one from Violet Chachki. At First Met Gala Attended By Drag Queens, the winner of "Rupaul's Drag Race" Season 7, chose to wear Moschino by Jeremy Scott.

January's favourite: Gucci Guilty Fragance campaign

Set in Los Angeles, the campaign’s scenes of life and love outside of social conformism embody the fragrances Gucci Guilty Pour Home and Gucci Guilty Pour Femme.

Individual, yet fusing together naturally, the men's and women's perfumes embody a declaration of self-expression and fearlessness, conjured up by the statement #ForeverGuilty.

Gucci t-shirt

Tour merch is no longer that one-off T-shirt you bought in a love frenzy of the band directly post-gig. Nowadays it’s a fashion-focussed affair curated to fit into your personal style. Newly versed in irony, Gucci takes on the trend for SS18, typing out its brand name in exaggerated font on this cotton-jersey T-shirt and underscoring it with a selection of locations. It’s a Gucci gig, and you’re invited. Available on gucci.com

Kappa Kontroll jersey shorts

Talk about a throwback! Kappa Kontroll is back and in a big way. We have fashion’s love affair with the 1990s to thank for that. The revival has a few tweaks mind you. The iconic mirrored man moniker is flipped upside down, and it’s placed in sequence as a side stripe down these jersey shorts. Available on selfridges.com

Givenchy classic shorts

Yes, there were a lot of short shorts on the SS18 catwalks, but if you’re sceptical about that translating to skimpy, fear not. As Givenchy - available on selfridges.com

Sandro Paris Denim Jacket

Denim jackets have pretty much made their way up through the ranks to achieve a 'basics' status that rivals the much-loved leather jacket. Sandro’s iteration leaves buttons in the past in favour of clean and sleek popper fastenings... and yes we go pink! Available on sandro-paris.com

je28ms18_715_002_1.jpg

JW Anderson Knot Tee

The knotted sleeve is a small design tweak but it’s come to symbolise the nonchalance and raw creativity of J.W. Anderson’s work. Not to mention those maritime references and they’re rife in this cotton-jersey T-shirt. Available on j-w-anderson.com

BLOOD BROTHER track pants

There’s one thing we can take solace in, and it’s the return of the tracksuit. Comfy enough to contain any wider woes, these sports-jersey BLOOD BROTHER track pants are designed with the classic drawstring waist and branded trims spanning the legs and they are our favourites. Available on selfridges.com

Gloverall - Worker Jacket - £275 - www.gloverall.com.jpg
