VALENTINO Fall 2020-21 show at Paris Fashion Week Men's

Maison VALENTINO has unveiled its FALL WINTER 2020-21 collection during Paris Fashion Week Men’s.

“Men are changing much more quickly in the last two decades because of women. And because of how work has changed.” noted the creative director of the brand, Pierpaolo Piccioli.

Guys these days should have no hang-ups about wearing coats and jackets stamped with photo prints or embroideries of flowers, Piccioli believes. Luxury for men and women is being dissolved into a median category. Valentino boys have segued seamlessly into carrying small cross-body bags. Some might be utility pouches, but others are indistinguishable from the mini-bags on chains that have been gendered as female for generations.

FW2020-21: Best of London Fashion Week Men's

2020 found us in London waiting for Men’s Fashion Week. This season was all about the new talents as many of the big names are not showing in the English fashion capital anymore. Our stylist & editor Martina Ghia was out and around and she has put down all you need about it.

Fall Winter 2020-21 seems to be a new era on men’s fashion with a lot of 90s elements, deconstructed denim and total denim looks, wide trousers, oversized coats and of course the new tailoring - a complete new generation on the classic tailoring, showing the elegance of the trend with a twist.

Below you’ll find the best of looks from some of our favourite shows:

DIOR & The shell trend: Next year, it will still be on men's fashion list

the Dior homme pre-fall 2020 show, presented in Miami, was definetely one of our favourites.

Scene silhouettes infused with cool, thought in collaboration with Shawn Stussy, floral and tropical shirts and relaxed tailoring were some of the main characteristics of the ready to wear collection.

What about the accessories though?

We loved the berret hats but we also noticed the seashell jewelry trend which it seems to be even more bold from next season onwards.

Editor’s note:

For 2 years, shell jewelry has been on all fronts, inviting itself on necklaces, bracelets, earrings and even anklets, infusing a touch of cool to the silhouettes that adopt it.

Alpha Industries x Eastpak: The FW19 collaboration

A common military heritage, a shared vision on functionality and the same uncompromising attitude to quality. These are the things that make Alpha Industries and Eastpak natural partners in this landmark collaborative collection. These two legendary U.S. brands started out manufacturing equipment for the U.S. armed forces back in the 1950s, and then respectively transitioned into the consumer market in the 1970s. Now, both brands have joined forces to bring the military look to the street.

Inspired by the now world-famous MA-1 flight jacket – as worn by pilots and crew of the U.S. Air Force and Navy – each item in this exclusive collection fuses Alpha Industries’ iconic military designs with Eastpak’s renowned functionality. A fitting tribute to a shared legacy that runs deep.

The collection will be available from the 1st of August 2019.

"The Diesel Red Tag Project". Salvador Dali meets Dánte: New campaign & collection

A surrealist trapped in reality, a painter on a quest to find his inspiration, and an ever current

message: #youcanchangetheworld.

Following its first fashion film, “Anamnesis”, the men’s brand Dánte makes a comeback with

“Lobster”, a film praising introspection and the constant, very personal, search for one’s true self.

Inspiration is found in Salvador Dali, one of the most eccentric and controversial personalities of

contemporary art and surrealism.

After Nikos Psarras, the torch is passed to Stavros Svigkos, the talented actor who portrays a

contemporary version of Dali, trying to find his lobster, the inspiration he needs to express his very

own truth without limitations or restraints.

Inspirer of the idea and founder of the brand, Antonis Papastavrou, places the Spanish painter’s

moustache-symbol, which in itself was a statement against the stereotypes of the hyperrealists of

Dali’s time, in the skilled hands of Kontstantinos Dekoumés who magnificently brings to life the

artistic and personal impasse in which the artist found himself, as well as the symbolic association it

had with the inspiration for his famous painting, the lobster..
